Sports Culture

Do you go for culture too? I don\’t mean culture in the sense of going to other countries like India, Arab countries, Spain, Italy, etc. I mean culture in the sense of movies, theater, etc. So I like music festivals and sports. I watch sports live, not on TV. I\’m a big fan of field hockey and soccer. I treat these as cultural events too. If it wasn\’t cultural, I would be very unhappy. If I didn\’t go to a show or a movie theater for a month, I would be really sad.

Sportovní akce mám ráda.

It\’s really classy to break up your life that way, always different. Watching videos, movies, etc. at least keeps you occupied. Also, be careful not to get burnt out at work afterwards. It\’s quite dangerous. I tell myself that if I feel like I\’m going to burnout, I need to take at least two weeks off. So it\’s best to get some cultural exposure. For example, my partner and I like to visit different Czech cities at Christmas. There are Christmas markets and things like that, and it\’s really fun.

Na hokej se dívám ráda.

I\’m also glad my partner enjoys it. Because I would be more than disappointed if my partner didn\’t enjoy the culture or going to the beautiful winter Christmas markets. I would definitely go with my mom and friends. But since my partner has only been with me for a year and a half, it is reasonable to expect him to go to Christmas markets and such. But otherwise, my partner likes culture. He told me he once worked in a theater. He worked in the makeup room of a theater, dressing actors. I think that would be a really good experience too. As for soccer and field hockey, my partner loves it and says he is very enthusiastic about it and that I like it too, so we also go to sports games together.
