When thinking about the culture of the Czech Republic, we must note that it is very rich. In the cultural experience, we can count on an important holiday for every citizen of this country. Whether it\’s Christmas, Easter or Santa Claus. Everything has been rooted since ancient times, and without this tradition we can not imagine somehow. But even then, when traveling to different parts of the country, the celebration of these cultural monuments can be slightly different. Even traditional food is different. Somewhere they eat lentil soup, like Cuban or fish soup. But despite this, it is a cultural monument for us. But culture is adaptive, adapting to time and place. Its transmission can be verbal or written, and thanks to education, it is further reproduced in the subconscious of the younger generation, which later maintains this culture.
Cultural heritage
Cultural heritage is very closely related to culture. Cultural heritage is everything that a person has created in the past, and it has influenced the culture of the country. This heritage can be divided into material and immaterial. If we talk about material heritage, then this mainly includes not only monuments, inventions and dishes, but also, for example, books. If we are interested in intangible cultural heritage, then these are proverbs, sayings, customs, knowledge, music.
UNESCO is registered as a World Heritage Site
The most important cultural heritage is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is an organization under the auspices of the United Nations based in Paris. Even in the Czech Republic, we have a monument to which we can be proud of registration. These, for example, are the core of the history of Prague (Prague Holašovice Castle Litomyšl, Tebebíč Jewish Quarter Hotel is located in Upington Castle Kroměříž. Or maybe Lednice-Valtice area. From the point of view of history as well, culture is very important for all countries. And every state needs to take care of this culture like fluff. Because culture is our heritage.
