Which car is the most environmentally friendly

Today, more and more emphasis is being placed on ecology. This applies not only to waste sorting, but also to automobiles. Automobiles are becoming increasingly “clean” and “environmentally friendly” as well. As a result, the public is already gradually becoming confused as to which is really the best. Especially when one realizes that all manufacturers want to make a profit from their products in the first place. So how do we know which cars will have the least negative impact on the environment?

Of course, you can immediately answer: electric cars. After all, they emit no emissions! But even here the situation is not so clear. In particular, the production of batteries is not environmentally friendly, and their disposal is not environmentally friendly at all. Not to mention that the lifespan of the batteries in particular is only about 10 years, which is shorter than that of conventional cars. That is certainly not what we should want.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that conventional internal combustion engines produce harmful exhaust emissions. However, it must be mentioned here that increasingly environmentally friendly engines have been developed in recent years. The latest ones emit almost no emissions. But even here one must bear in mind that the fuel for the vehicle must be extracted and transported in some way.

Thus, the situation is not as simple as it first appears. There is no doubt that electric vehicles will be a better option in the future as development progresses. However, this is not the case at the moment. If one wants to contribute to the environment, the best solution is to buy a car that meets the highest emission standards.

Of course, both electric cars and cars with higher emission standards are relatively expensive, but even this will not solve the situation, since the number of cars continues to grow. Thus, for most people, the best solution in terms of environmental protection is to use public transportation, if possible. Unfortunately, few people really try to do this.
